OH MY!!! He smoked weed and now the media announces it all over the place and people scream about him being a poor role model. He went to College because he could knock the pi$$ out of someone in High School and he will go to the NFL becaues he could knock the pi$$ out of someone in College!! So he smoked some weed, there are much worse things in the world he could have done. I agree it is stupid that he would jeapordize his name, NOT HIS CHANCES in the NFL, but at most his own car dealership or insurance sales in Iowa City when his body is beat to death and he is out of the NFL and people only remember him for smoking. We shouldnt even know he fails a test, it is done in a clinical setting and should remain a closed test.

Oh yes obviously, because you speak of an obvious higher intellect. Maybe you are suggesting I should spend more time in the library that is now sitting in ruins downtown because of the flood. The flood that destroyed the library that would have been prevented if we did have a flood wall to protect our downtown. Ill take that suggustion as soon as we have a library to visit after we build the flood wall to protect any future investments that the flood wall will protect. This is the problem with this town, No one will do anything or agree to any plan to make this a better place to live. God forbid we would spend a little money to have a nice downtown and decent place to take our kids. The backwards farmer mentality that comes with living in this community is maddening. OH don’t make the downtown nice, we will just stay in our plain, boring, Linnmar neighborhood. The yokel backwards hicks that make up this town are content with sitting at home watching NASCAR and drinking Busch Light instead of actually wanting to leave the couch and have a nice downtown area to visit and have a small semblance of culture in this town. You all are right, Vote NO, we will just leave downtown CR a slum hole and never have anything to be proud of. You all are from Cedar Rapids regardless of where you live, This whole county goes by way of what happens downtown. If it stays a hole, YOU live in a hole.
