Early dismissal days count as full days, so they count toward the 180 day requirement. They do not make the school year any longer.

Shouldn't the title read "Culver AND BRANSTAD Sought Donations ..."? Why only the name of the party receiving the LOWEST amount in the title?

Looks like KCRG only reported part of the info for the garage sale tax. The following was posted on http://www.wcfcourier.com/articles/2009/06/28/new...

"Also, beginning Wednesday, casual sales --- such as items sold at a garage sale --- of all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, off-road motorcycles and off-road utility vehicles will be subject to state sales tax."

Still not sure how they'll enforce it, but it won't apply to most garage sale items.
