Heh-let's face it- we all know an athletic race in Boulder will gain more traction than a protest about race. The po-po know when to clip the efforts, and why. If they "allowed" that unofficial, it would grow to be 1,000 runners in a matter of a couple of years. The protest? Meh. And huh? There are more white athletes in this town than there are ppl of race, there might be a handful of whites that even know a black person here. To me, therein lies the joke. This is the most white bread, liberal, open minded, wealthy, sheltered "bubble" town on the map and they're out there doing...what? It's like protesting to the farmer that he/she needs to farm.

This is much like Boulder Cycle Sport- they fire the ppl they don't want around anymore (and then threaten them if they talk) with out any warning or dialog. They want support from the community, but then forget that their own employees are a part of that. If they don't even take care of their own, who's to say what they even care about their community? It's all a front for money and all of the wrong intentions.

I was on the merge ramp from west-bound S.Boulder Rd. He was already in the right lane and then crept into the generously wide and long merge lane from that ramp I was in. He remained in the right lane- to the Baseline intersection to make a right.

I saw this semi- earlier on Foothills. He was driving a bit like he owned the road, but not clearly erratic. He crept into my lane at the S Boulder on-ramp- where the lanes are wide and there's plenty of pavement. He was inches from my car where he proceeded to stay down the right lane. It wasn't out-right flying, but pretty rapid for what he was driving. I caught up to this intersection and then saw him flip. The 2-3 dudes that came out of nowhere to dig the one car out were champions. Everyone was cool, calm and collect and helpful. Really great job done by those 1st on the scene before authorities.

I gotta agree with this. Very poorly written complaint/review/whatever the goal is. Unbelievably written like a self-serving diary entry for a professional publication.

30 complaints in a little over a year- and students getting threats, and students fearing to show up for a class they pay for and Naropa states desires to keep him teaching there? There's provocative and there's reckless. This guy sounds like a bit more like reckless. I would love to hear from the students. Naropa needs to grow a pair and fire this guy. Let him poop racism in his diaper all he wants. He has a job to do and if he's not doing it...

People need to stop running for the phone every single time. You moved to the mountains....right?

So glad the state has decided on this. Some Utah counties are considering the same thing.

I'm stunned atigroup is getting thumbs down.
I don't ski- so I don't give a crap about any of this- but he/she brings up a very valid point. The privileged ones are often the teeny-boppers in their early 20's who's parents are paying out of state tuition b/c their kids had no idea what to do with their lives besides wear Ugg boots and baseball caps. We all know what the masses of CU students do to this town overall every single year. The ones with a brain are the older ones who've matured a little bit, and probably need to work through school and are the ones who'd really benefit from the "student" discount. I also get it- even as a non-student, I simply can't afford to ski b/c I never got the gear and I can't afford it, and there are lots of other things to do in this town. Skiing is ultimately a luxury, the price of it being a 1st world problem. And Eldora can ultimately do what they want, but they need to rename the discount. If you're 27 and a full time student- and you can't get the "student" discount- then it's not a student discount, plain and simple. I will be daring- how about they change the policy to - full time students only with no kids. B/c if you have a kid, and decided to go to school full time, you clearly have money to execute those two decisions at the same time. Bring the thumbs down in 3...2...
