Ben, sorry for asking this. What is the name of the movie you could not remember?thx
Thank you Ben for the reply. I have checked out the info you have suggested. I am pretty much on 70/15/15 ration. I do cycle the ketosis in about few days out during 14 days period. The ammonia smell occurs only during my run and it is noticeable through sweating. If I go for my run I do around 5g of BCAA 30 min prior to my run. In todays occasion I did fasted run, bulletproof coffee with BCAA and raw egg in it 30 min before the run. I know it is very hard conclude about this conditions based on very few details. Do you think this might indicate any other metabolic condition? Would you recommend any particular blood test? Or shall I just go with the experimenting with different amounts of BCAA and proteins? Is the ammonia dangerous thing if not treated? Many thanks Ben. I hope you are having a great time in DUBAI.
Hi Ben, I have a question. I have been experimenting with LCHF diet for a while. I have noticed that after a harder run or workout I smell of ammonia. I have looked up some info about it. Apparently it is caused by braking down protein and using amino acids as energy. I do take BCAA before workout. What wold be your take on this issue.
thanks a lot
Thanks for the reply, I will for sure consider all those aspects. I am in the stage of researching the materials, and technologies to be used. Thanks for the offer to help, I will for sure come back to you with some questions. Another just popped into my mind. How do you deal with the grey water (shower, kitchen)?
Great one Ben, I have been experimenting with similar methods as you are discussing in the podcast. I have been involved in permaculture designing which has the same concept of rotation plants by families. I am on the path to build my small independent place in middle of nowhere. I live in central Europe where the seasons needs to be considered for building the house and also to set up the permaculture garden.
Listening to this podcast I got many ideas and inspiration especially for the rocket stove, which is very very effective piece of art. I hope Ben, one day I can invite you to visit my place.
I have a question about the weight of the roof, is the wooden structure sufficient to support the weight of the soil especially when it is saturated by water during the rain.
Is the corn porridge working well to preserve the walls from dusting of? Have you used any particular blend of mud or clay for the plastering purposes?
thx a lot for the great work.
Thx for the great analysis and for the whole experiment. I am very surprised that even though he was not watching his diet and only cut of the alcohol intake some blood markers dropped incredibly low. I am wondering how diet clean up would effect the results. This clearly shows how alcohol is bad for us.
thx once again Ben.
Great article Ben. Such a pity that the shipping to UK cost so much.
hats of to all of you guys. Ben is there anything harder you can think of doing?
Thx Ben, When Tai speaks about getting out and stick your fingers into dirt, he is right. I have been working on small organic farm in Caribbean for well over the year. There is nothing more therapeutical than farming. I use my cell only if I need to make a phone call, I need to improve on the email. Btw, During the days working out on the farm there is no better time to listen to your podcasts. Already signed up for Tai's 67 steps.
thx a lot for all the great work you are doing. Very very helpful
Awesome Ben, Another great and superb informative podcast. thx
