Really interesting, informative post. Im headed to Crete next week. I'll be there 2 days before the gorge closes. Do you think it would still be worth doing so late in the season? Also what's the terrain like? My ankles aren't the strongest so the only thing that would worry me in the footing. It looks beautiful so I'd love to give it a go!
