PS. Your thighs look great! I wasn't insinuating that they were looking square! I just recall from my spin days that MY thighs got really "bulky" and looked rather like a square shape. Er...Happy Easter? Or Passover? OR...HAPPY SUNDAY!

Haha - @Ameena's comment made me laugh. I am so not into spinning but your reviews really make me want to give it another go. Do you notice that you are getting really tight hips or square thighs?

Wow, congratulations on an awesome wedding! You looked stunning. Love the last photo as it is so unique and quirky but also really artistic and meta! Cool. I laughed out loud on the bridesmaid stuff...the poem...the debauchery. Do I have to have bridesmaids? HAHA.

Sounds BOTH rude and flaky. Little did she know your influence over the NY fitness scene! It sounds like the metabolic resistance training that Refine incorporates.

I suffer from the PMS. I tried the antidepressant route and hated it. Sure, my PMS symptoms disappeared but at what expense? I also lost "my edge", and felt like I was in a fog. On top of all that, I was in constant state of hot-flashes! So, although my emotions were relatively non-existant, it wasn't worth it. I like my emotions, thankyouverymuch! I agree that, for the vast majority (not everywoman), the diet/exercise route is the best way to go. I always try to load up on omegas and Bs from food, especially during PMS.... but, sadly, I tend to cave and devour a bunch of "bad" food at least one day out of the month as a "serotonin booster!" I need to work on taking more care to eat healthfully all month long.

Great review! I may be Oregon born and bread, but all the hippie, woo-woo stuff tires me out. I tend to shy away from anything too "new agey" or too pious or that takes itself too seriously...so I was worried that I would hate IntenSati due to the "woo-woo-ness" but I loved it! It's a fantastic workout and it just makes your soul feel good! GOOOD. If you like to get your heart rate up, your body moving and you've got an open mind, you are bound to enjoy it. At least a little. Now I try and go a couple times a month. Let's go together one day!

I of course started the New Year off with Refine. I really want to try a bikey class one day soon though!

Macarons are sooo pretty! I just love the colors and the shape and the way that they package them. And, no. I don't believe I have ever tried one. Have I? No. I think that they fall too high on my "fear foods" list and thus get overlooked. Maybe I should give one a nibble sometime?

I tried 5HTP long ago, but never was able to afford to commit back then. This post makes me want to give it another go. Very informative!

I am intrigued by this. I had never before heard of a light mask! I am tempted to give it a try. I wonder if you use it MOST days, but miss a few, will you still reap benefits?
