Yep! We were under the illusion that my 2nd "Steady" income was helping us when his income "fluctuated" but in reality every month I brought less than $100.00 after taxes, daycare, gas, extra food/prepackaged foods when I was too tired, and the time away from our kids. I broke the illusion, and although things are unstable again, my husband rededicated himself to not wait until he's asked for work - he ASKS for work.
I love this! Go Levi! My husband grew up on a dairy farm and I swear if he had this book when he was your age, he'd have hypnotized every one of the cows, geese, chickens, pigs, and goats...after he'd tried it on the dogs and cats. I swear the time he caught a rat bare-handed I'm sure he'd love to have done this. just to freak me out.
One of my acquaintances has really bad stomach problems and was told to take probiotics but life happened and he couldn't afford the medicines. I have started researching to see if there was anything that he could do that would be homemade or affordable for him. Thanks for the tips!
