Girl of Fire and Thorns is a really good series; I quite enjoyed it. I downloaded Black Iris on a whim last year, after seeing Judith @ Paperiot post a quote on Instagram. I was immediately intrigued, and I really enjoyed it, although it wasn't quite was I was expecting. Very dark and gritty, but so good.

Ha -- I just did a post about this as part of Novel Heartbeat's "Life of a Blogger" meme! When I started putting my list together, I was surprised that I was watching that many shows (although two are DVD re-watches of older series: Star Trek Voyager and Dawson's Creek). I don't feel like I really watch that much TV anymore. I agree with you that there's just not much on that actually inspires me to watch. My husband and I will pick up a show on Netflix (we just started watching Breaking Bad) and watch there, mainly because you don't have to wait a week (or months) for the next episode and there's no commercials. I can't wait TV anymore because the commercials just annoy me too much. So the only CURRENT shows that I actually watch on TV are How I Met Your Mother and Big Bang Theory. Plus Game of Thrones when it comes back.

This turned out to be way longer than I intended it to be! Oops =P

Omigosh. This. Oh this. I AM THE SAME WAY. I am also HOPELESS for reading book 1 ... and then never reading onwards. Or reading all but the last book *gazes sadly at Requiem* But 2014 is the year that THIS WILL CHANGE. Are you with me? Let's make it happen!!!!!!!!

FOMO -- I love it! This is totally the story of my life ... sometimes I just stare at my TBR and wonder how I will possibly have ENOUGH TIME to read ALL OF THE BOOKS that I MUST READ. Seriously. There are just too many. I need to go live in a cabin in the woods with nothing but 56 boxes of books and then maybe, MAYBE I will catch up on all the wonderfulness in the bookish world. I haven't read Shadow & Bone OR Graceling yet (I know, I know!) but I keep hearing such great things about both, so I will. Or suffer the FOMO consequences.
