I'm sorry, I'd just have to call BS on almost any confession he offers, should he go that route. Perhaps if he'd use his admission of guilt as a jumping off point for a career in helping kids AVOID the road he took so defiantly and arrogantly, it would merit a nod of approval. But I'm with Bob Stellick. If he confesses so that he can compete - even if it is to prove he's a world-class athlete WITHOUT drugs - it would strike me as incredibly disingenuous.
