Years of work... exactly! I found that out first hand.

For me, picture books are the literary equivalent of the TARDIS. They are bigger and more complex on the inside than they look from the outside. And learning how to land the TARDIS is a lot easier than finding the perfect ending for a picture book. :)

(Sorry for all the Doctor Who references, I'm in withdrawal right now)

Over and Under the Snow looks like a book my children will enjoy. Especially my non-fiction loving 9yo!

Boone NC is my most romantic city. Why? It is where my hubby and I met. It is where he proposed. Where we got maried. And where we make a yearly trip on our anniversary (if possible). Plus, the hiking trails are fantastic (especially Hebron Rock Colony).

I am so late to the party. And didn't come with a gift. Cause, well, I was blissfully unaware of the whole thing! :) I'm glad I read this, though, because I will sometimes write book reviews and never,ever, ever want to come across as bullyish in that process.

This post is great! I have been a "fly baby" (ever heard of the flylady?), but my wings have drooped to the ground. This book sounds fabulous. I will have to check it out. It would be great to have a clean house and be balanced. I wrote an article for P31 mag about that very thing a while back. I am still a work in progress!
