We went every summer when I was a kid with my grandparents, who ARE golfers. My immediate family likes hanging out by a beach or a pool and not doing much, and thus are happy at pretty much any beach. The restaurants in HH are pretty good too. I'm not sure why my dad loves it so much though! Familiarity?
This is the most I have ever related to Dad Magazine: my dad is OBSESSED with Hilton Head, and he doesn't even golf! He subscribes to their newspaper and tells me their weather EVERY DAY.
The Lovell one is REALLY pro-Diana, b/c she was still alive and cooperated with the writing. If I recall, she compares Diana being in jail to people at Dachau, so . . .
Maybe since Debo died, they can really get into the dirt now?
My dentist is my dad. He likes the Postal Service and always plays them for me when I get a cleaning! Otherwise my mom is in charge of the radio and it's tuned to the lite-fm radio station.
Chicklet27 was my first AOL account (chicklet was one of my nicknames). I actually have had the same aim name since 1997 though and still use it--Leesharama (Leesh is one of my other nicknames).
My parents still tell my spelling bee story : I was competing in the city-wide competition when I was 12, and right at the beginning they announced the date of the next round--which was the same date as my bat mitzvah. I didn't even try after that, knowing I couldn't move forward, and deliberately spelled a word wrong just to end my misery. Possibly the word I spelled wrong was "forfeiture" for a li'l irony.
Please keep tweeting updates about this, I want to see some close-up pics of kitten cuddles!!! Also, a humane trap would probably work, as several ppl have suggested, and then you can take him to the vet and then he is YOURS TO CUDDLE.
