Excellent tip. I'm a big PicMonkey fan and didn't know about this very cool tip. Thank you!

Hi Rebekah, Great tutorial. With the availability of analytics and data, we can become overwhelmed in knowing which information to monitor. People often focus on the wrong measurements, missing potential opportunities for reaching customers more effectively.

Hi Josh, Excellent points. When I read a string of comments that just praise the author then I realize how little value those comments have. But I often do read comments because gems can be buried within those messages. Commenters can greatly add to the information being delivered when they share their experiences and offer additional insights.

When a blog has no comments then I do tend to wonder about the content. Spammy websites often have no comments so that can be an indication of a site that isn't legit. I also don't like commenters who are rude and hostile, trying to prove their point when they clearly haven't even read the article.

So a thoughtful comment is still valuable to a blog, adding to the conversation, delivering additional content and drawing in readers. You're welcome, you can forward your payment to my Paypal account. ;-)

Excellent subject for you to cover! Harleena is truly amazing, not just for her commenting across the Internet but also for the tough topics she covers so deftly. Harleena never shies away from writing about topics that can really help people, even if they are touchy subjects. Harleena's velvet style smooths over the rough topics so people can learn and relate to her posts.

Harleena is also an amazing commenter, usually the first one to visit many blogs. Her comments are thoughtful and considerate. She also shares on every platform.

If everyone could be like Harleena, the blogging world would be a better place!

Hi Frank, Yes it's interesting that they are releasing this tablet in three different sizes. Is there really so much of a difference between the 7 and 8 inch tablets? It will be interesting to see how many people get the 10 inch model and sync it with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch!

Great piece. I agree with the follow up being welcome. If something is truly attention-worthy, let me know and remind me. I welcome PR reps who alert me to trends and important announcements from their clients.

You're right about the editorial calendar too. I have articles planned, news breaks and then articles are pushed back, sometimes until they're not current enough to publish.

Press releases can be a huge help, but I do like quotes from CEO's to give us the inside perspective on the announcement.

I was once pitched effectively on Twitter but it took several tweets and DM's to convince me to cover the story. And I was very glad I did cover the story.

I agree about interviews too. The ability to chat with someone, hear their voice, ask impromptu follow-up questions and pursue interesting lines of discussion make for a much better conversation.

Hi Ryan, Triberr > sliced bread. The impact Triberr has had on my blog, my traffic and my life has been astounding. Your reasons are great, every one of them is true. I have met so many top bloggers through Triberr, ones I might not have discovered otherwise.

I also think Triberr helps give you incentive to do your very best. As you said, you now have a reach of 24M. Do you want to show 24M people second-rate content? Of course not! You want to show them the very best you have. That's great incentive to give it your all.

Thanks for sharing this important reminder on how valuable Triberr is, Ryan.

Hi Ryan, I agree, there is a time and place for everything and LinkedIn is not a good place to try to sell a product. These people should try to make connections there in the hope that you'll visit their site because you're so impressed with them.

I imagine you will disconnect from these people unless they were close friends.

Great list. I use Dropbox, Buffer, Boomerange, Rapportive, Evernote, AdBlock Plus, Google Translate and Invisible Hand. I hadn't really thought about how many tools I used till you brought it up. Interesting article!
