Superb haul. I must admit this post added a few books to my taller-than-Mount-Everest TBR!

Awesome haul!

I was planning to read Shadow and Bone but the whole romance thing turned me off from it. I can't stand too much romance in fantasy books.
I actually went on a quest to discover YA fantasy with no romance and love triangles, ended up discovering loads of promising books and making a series of 7 blog posts featuring them.
I must recommend Shattered Sea trilogy by Joe Abercrombie if you don't mind dark fantasy with violence, and Red Sister by Mark Lawrence (coming out this April) no romance and great characters/worldbuilding.

I have to gift this to a friend who is a huge Carrie Fisher fan! Thanks for helping me find such a perfect gift (I wouldn't hear about this book if it weren't for your WOW post)
