Oh Mandy, totally understand (but am honestly secretly hoping that you will be back again in a couple of months after all). Will really miss reading your posts :)

It looks so peaceful inside Mandy so I can see why you wanted to spend some time taking it in without the camera for a little while. I went to Prague many years ago with family but we didn't explore the Jewish quarter in much depth back then so I'd love to try and see this next time.

Poor innocent green statue girl exposed to such things! I must say, when I went to Barcelona, which was well over a decade ago, I did go to the Nou Camp as my friend was a huge football fan and I suspect it would be a similar story now if I went back with hubby. You got some great photos out of your time apart though it seems. Isn't Casa Battlo just so lovely?!

How funky is this?! I love how utterly creative some of these afternoon tea chefs are! What fun this must have been!

Oh Mandy, I am so sorry for your loss - you are right though, even as someone objective who didn't know her, she really was the most beautiful puppy in the world judging by this photo. How deeply she must be missed. Thinking of you but I am glad you at least had lots else going this month to help keep your mind occupied with other things. Looking forward to reading more about Prague and really wish I'd known about the fair in Woolwich- I love things like that!

How is it possible that I'm such a dessert fiend and so close to Kent and did not know about this Monday. Getting Googling as we speak!!

What perfect timing Mandy to have received a chance to create one of these Cheerz squares to make your new home feel even more homely - I love the look of them and in this day and age, I do miss the days of seeing my favourite images in print! Sounds like things have really fallen into place - congratulations :)

Yay! Welcome back Mandy! I almost never get flu like illnesses but I'm reading this in the midst of going through one myself and have no appetite or energy - meant to be going away in a few days so really need to keep at the paracetamol and hope it doesn't last as long as yours did. Congratulations on your new home & looking forward to seeing what new adventures come your way now that you're recovered from illnesses and sprains & done with exams!

I used to love TinTin when I was little so something like this would bring back so many memories for me! Is that one in America meant to be him at Rockeller centre?! ☺

Bet you were glad you braved the rain now! Such fascinating history Mandy, I had never realised that tube networks were used as shelters during both wars but of course they would have been - it makes sense given how good a place of shelter they must have been!
