It seems sometimes I put off spending individual time with my children because of my long to-do list. And yet I find that it doesn't take long to show my children how much they mean to me. A few minutes playing cars...sitting and reading one book...spending some time allowing them to show me how fast they can make their cars go...it's the small moments that add up to show them how much they truly mean to me.

Loved this post! I kept it open on my computer all day so whenever I sat down to do some work I saw the title and was reminded to make my home happy today.

So today we...hid under blankets to keep the imaginary dolphins from getting us wet...built a tent out of chairs and blankets...and right now my youngest is playing with his water gun outside. All things that I would typically say no too because of time involved, messes, et cetera. Instead we made lots of fun memories together today. :-)

Morning, afternoon and evening routines are such life savers! It helps to keep the house presentable. :-) One of the things I try to do every morning is to quick clean the bathrooms so that if anyone stops by the bathrooms aren't nasty. :-)

The internet can be such a great resource...but also a big time waster. One of my goals this year is to limit my time spent on my computer.
