Oh my goodness!!! I want Rome!! I want it so badly and I want to go to each of these piazzas- some of which we experienced during our week long love affair vacation in this amazing city - and I want to try all the things you mentioned. Rome is incredible and I know that there would never be enough time to experience it all, but I would so love the opportunity! Thank you for a great list of suggestions. I will be sure to come back to this as a reference if I ever get so lucky to be back!

How's the settling in going? I find with big moves it really does take that first year to iron out all the wrinkles, get plans into full operational mode and hopefully get to the 'everyone's on autopilot' mode. Wishing you all the best with this new chapter!

Balance is always the key, isn't it. You sound so very happy with your decisions and I am happy for your enthusiasm and focus. Blogging can suck the life out of you if you falter in the purpose of why you are doing it. I wish you all the best as you start in your new direction. And yes, having lunch or just time with each child individually is a true gift in busy family lives. I like your son's taste in menus -- I think you will LOVE exploring and tasting Paris!
