Zan, welcome to the nightmare. This is probably one of the most difficult decisions for many urban middle income parents with a little English education. Which school to send to! Sekolah Kebangsaan is just a no no for most non Muslims because of all that happens in there or is perceived to happen in there. What about History where half the syllabus is on Islam and the other about UMNO's achievements! Mostly Malay teachers and Principals...not that that matters, but knowing a lot of them were given teachers' training or jobs despite them wanting to work somewhere else worries. The Chinese and Indian teachers who are there are there probably because they want to teach, otherwise they would not have bothered applying anyway. Indians generally tend to become English teachers because supposedly they are better at it!!

Chinese education which is promoted as better is maybe a little better than attending Minilatry training. The kid will not have a life. Tamil....total waste of time. They only study up to Standard 6. Then complete switch to Malay. So Tamil also not so fine and Malay, they don't even get to start. Of course I am exaggerating a bit here....but these are from perceived to the reality of it.

With International schools, after paying RM40,000 to RM&0,000 a year if you ot to stillpay tuition at RM100 an hour, that now is a real heartache!!

Sounds like he is only trying to impress idiots who get carried away. To the Interpol a red alert for these would be like crying fox when there is no fox. That simply means in future when a real red alert is needed Interpol might just ignore it. Just because the Malaysian police serves the interest of UMNO more than that of the people does not mean that Interpol too do the same.

Hope they took note that there was no hate statements or messages rendered. Nor was evil specified as coming from which ever source other than evil itself or Satan or the devil. Hope they also heard that the congregation would have been told about loving their neighbours instead of being suspicious of them and to avoid them like the plague.

And what is wrong with that so long as they are all Malaysians? After all as it is we have been regarded the most corrupt. Can it get any worse?

So who are UMNO supposed to emulate now? Sisters in Islam?

Between Khalid Ibrahimg and Hadi Awang it would appear that Hadi is a bigger slime ball. I suppose playing traitor is quite acceptable to him. And PAS members remain loyal to him? What a joke?

No problem. Malaysia would only levy complains if he had been killed by the Israelis.

So when was the last time you saw an Israeli using a kitchen knife to cut off the head of any child or adult? Better yet, find justification for their actions in any religious sources?

Good article. But one thing that has confounded me is people "liking" a post announcing the death of a family member or a loved one. Or even a sick news of some massacre or a war happening somewhere! To kids where liking just about anything and everything is just a finger click away, I somehow cannot imagine this Form 4 kid having considered everything actually understands what exactly it was that he had "liked"!

The problem with the like button on fb is that it also does not have a dislike button. How many times have we seen likes been clicked when there is an announcement of a bereavement? Or likes for most definitely negative news or reports? So how do you in this instance deduce that he indeed expressed his likeness for the message that it carried?
