Wow, wow, wow, Jessica!!!! Praying for your even more through all these transitions. Are you moving north, south, east or west? Will you be within a day’s drive back to your parents?

Hugs and lots of love!

This is well-done! The book would be welcome in my home and my atrium! I would love to win this!

You know the O Antiphons are my most favorite part of the Church's liturgical year! What an impressive giveaway--I'd say one of your best yet! I'm tired just looking at all the preparation you have done for this!

Definitely a real Bible. That is another key element, that God's Word is never watered down, but the children will hear it in a complete way, not told in stories. When your children aren't reading, you can do the act of finding a passage in the Bible and read or recite something, but as they get older they can start finding passages.

The New American Bible translation is closest to what we hear at Mass, so maybe a beautiful pocket size leather version might work? In our school/atria we use the RSVCE Ignatius Bible which has a pretty version for the prayer table.

Very lovely! I love the prayer table! Being a CGS catechist, may I make a few observations? A central item to the prayer table in the atrium is the Holy Bible, usually enthroned on a beautiful pillow. We always speak in reverent tones about the Holy Bible and listening to God's sacred Word. We light the candle when we read from God's Word.

The prayer cards are simple and short passages (Be Still and Know that I am God, How Lovely is Your Dwelling Place, Alleluia, Holy, Holy, Holy and The Lord is My Shepherd, I have Everything I need...), and written so that the child can eventually read them and also copy them at some point. Some are in cursive if the child is learning cursive, otherwise print or a simple Italic calligraphy. Your Amen card is a perfect example!

I love St. Germaine. If you can get a copy of the old Encounter book "Girl in the Stable" your family will really enjoy that. I read that so many times! (Looks like this: https://www.amazon.com/girl-stable-life-St-Germai...

I struggle with sweet potato -- flavor and texture. I was hoping you would say the flavor disappears! But the thickener idea is great. Right now I'm doing Whole30 minus nightshades, but know I might have to do the AIP completely next. My biggest concern is protein and finding vegetables I like or tolerate. I admit, I'm kind of picky or have intolerance issues.
