I can see it both ways... I was just doing 800s on an idoor track the other day and thinking that sometimes it's easier on the track because you get to sort of ebb and flow your pace but, when you're on the treadmill you're locked into a steady, leg burner for the duration! No matter how you do them - they hurt and they may you faster, right?
And now I want tacos...:-)

I'm one who eats more fruits than veggies but I'm trying to have the pendulum swing the other way since, as you noted, veggies as so filling! It was so easy to eat a ton of them in Italy as they were super fresh, readily available and cheap. I think visiting my local fame's market will do wonders for my veggie intake!!

If you change that shirt to Netflix and Bike Trainer, I'm all over it :-) I seriously logged more miles on the bike trainer watching Homeland over the past four months and it was awesome!!!
I absolutely love blogger meet ups and I'm due for one.
My newest and most favorite piece of gear lately is my Zoot tank that has cooling properties in it. I wore it for the first time on a hotter run in Maryland and it kept me cool and kind of dry...ok, drier than usual!

So electrolytes are a very big deal to me and unfortunately played a key role in me not reaching my PR at the NYC marathon last Nov. Or so I thought. I absolutely love this article and, I'm inclined to agree with you. BUT, have you read Jeff Gaudette's piece on Runner's Connect about how runner's really DO NOT need electrolytes? If nothing else, it's interesting. That said, I never thought of making my own sports drinks! What a concept! Thanks Amanda :-)

I have perfected my snot rockets over the years and can even shoot 'em perfectly off the bike now. So gross but so essential!!
I have wicked allergies and the honey and sunglasses absolutely help.

Recovery foods are a MUST! I definitely think a lot about what I put into my body to fuel it properly and, it will tell you when you did something wrong!! Holy recipes here Amanda!! I will have to pin and keep coming back for more. For now, I'm making those stuffed peppers!
