Sounds like a lovely month, Mahathi - except for the health glitch. So glad recovery was quick and led to healthy habits. You are right about the fact that we do not realize the importance of something until it is not there. How exciting to read that you are choreographing songs! Do share when you are done. Thank you for joining the Gratitude Circle. I appreciate you!
The travel sounds great, Mahathi--and your photos on Instagram prove it! Glad you enjoyed a book--although, I sometimes feel it is torture to have to read in bits and pieces! How wonderful to read about your dance and choreography experience! May you have a wonderful June ahead! Thank you for joining the Gratitude Circle.
Thyroid function is something that has to stay in balance as it controls so many physiological processes. As we grow older, there's always the fear of lifestyle diseases as a result of which the thyroid can get affected. The worst of course, is congenital hypothyroidism which is heart-breaking and often not even diagnosed in time.
Thanks for sharing this, Kala.
Somehow never read these, even after a friend gifted me the set when the books came out. I did see some of the movies though and quite enjoyed them. Not sure if I'll read the books. Yes, Cullen is dashing, but so are many of the characters in the movie. :-) I love that you loved the books after all these years. I enjoy when that happens to me. Yet to read a Harry Potter book though :-)
What a solid tree! The snow on the ground, the fabulously blue sky, oh, what beautiful colors, Mahathi! Thank you for sharing this photo!
Your post had my laughing, Kala! I consider myself in the same boat--with two left feet. I suspect it is mostly a psychological thing, because I did learn Kuchipudi for some months. And apparently I've danced my heart out on one New Year's eve long ago at a friend's place.Nevertheless, the mental block is good and strong. Hehehe. And yeah, I remember that ad. Hugs! And please, do go shake a leg.
So cute! I can so see that happening, Kala! Well written! Believe it or not, decades after I am through with college, I still occasionally have the exam nightmare. Wonder what Freud would say about that!
How lovely, Kala. It is true that Christmas is so feel-good, and yes to the cake and the vathal kuzhambu! I made that too!
I saw your photos on Instagram. That's a fabulous table arrangement About the chick leaving the nest, big Sigh!
Hugs and Merry Christmas to you. Wishing you a fabulous 2018!
That's a beautiful sketch, Kala! Must have been a lovely trip! :) Best thing about these trips is, looking at the photos is also like a mini vacation!
The poem represents our collective thought process - we've all felt it one time or other!
:-) Nice idea about the guest post chain! Good to see Reema here, Kala! - and yay! for your first guest!
