There are so many great books on this list! I'm reading Andrew Lang's Green Fairy Book right now and am smitten with his sense of humor and elegant language. James Herriott's Treasury is one of our very favorites (the audio book, read by Jim Dale, is wonderful), and Tales From Shakespeare is on my "To Be Read Imminently" list :) I can't wait to check out the others on your list!
