I inherited a hamster when my nieces went back to Aussie Land. They'd "rented" it from a pet store while they spent the month of December with me a couple of years ago. Then when it was time to go, they conned me into keeping him so he'd still be around when they came over to visit again.

Man, that thing was an escape artist. A stupid escape artist. I have Golden Retrievers. And they'd track him down every time and bring him to me all soggy and harried, but unharmed.

Except for the time Justin (my male Golden) played dunk the hamster in the water bowl. Splash. Pause. Splash. Pause. Splash.

hahahahhahahhahahha

I'm amazed the thing survived the years he spent with me.

I was just thinking maybe you had some advice on what I should bill it as? Do you think I'd be safe just calling it a romantic suspense? I'll definitely get hold of you for an ARC of the next book, and you are tops on my schedule for the Next blog tour. I'm planning on hitting the promo again once Cosky's story comes out.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review on Forged in Fire. I'm so happy you loved it! Yay!!! It's so hard to figure out what to call this book. lol. I was afraid that by not having paranormal somewhere in the sub-genre readers wouldn't be prepared for the psychic aspect. But I've been calling it a paranormal romantic suspense. You mention it was billed as a paranormal, was it described as a paranormal romantic suspense on the blog tour site? That's what I've been calling it. I'm going to check the billing at bewitching tours and see if something got dropped.

But thank you so much for the great review, and I'm thrilled you loved it!

I love revisions too.
Hate. Hate. Hate, that first draft. It's through revisions the book starts resembling what I envisioned.
Sorry to hear you were sick, but glad to hear you're feeling well enough to venture out.
