I have an inner space where all my writing takes place, too! Then when the minions are sleeping I pour it all out into my laptop, sitting at the kitchen table. Some days that inner space is so full I have no choice but to write, wipe a nose, write, make lunch, write, wipe a butt, write, play referee. I think the 'have-to' overrides the 'where-to'!
I'm sorry that your eval was so so awful. I have never seen a contraption like Ollie's in - what is it's purpose? I wish you were in the states or at the Stollery - I've only heard good things about that hospital. I'm glad he's doing so well - he's such a puff - I just want to squeeze him, he's so cute! It is possible that Ollie has some functioning enzyme - there are many children who don't get transplanted. We knew our boys had none, so a transplant was really the only option. I wish you luck in your decisions.
Much love-
Amy
Sorry no thumbnail - the screen of selections didn't pop-up and I clicked the wrong thing. Oh well - I guess I'm a frog this time ;D
Perfect! So simple, yet so very heartfelt. I can see you sitting there, sharing the bucket of raspberries. What a good memory, thank you for sharing such a sweet one! My favorite line "There, in the cool shade grew hidden treasure…brambly, plump wild raspberries." I love the imagery. Well done.
Please and Thank you - I'd like someone to throw things at, I mean throw ideas around with ;D
You just confirmed, we will never get fish. Funny stuff. Great job with the prompt.
A cool shiver, I can feel the worms wiggling in my hands. I've been told so many times that the harshness in my life is what had made me strong. I say the same holds true for you. You are everything you are in spite of the way he treated you. And that's a very good thing. Thank you for sharing such a bittersweet memory. Your writing is beautiful.
Love the imagery, I felt like I was in the room, like a time-traveler, standing there watching you with your mom. It amazes me how powerful memories can be associated with the simplest things. Bravo.
Looks like I'm not the only newbie here! What an amazing group of writers!! Thank you for creating this opportunity.
Ah, Jen above guessed my initial response - a bit of peanut butter sandwich - I don't see any jelly though ;D
