libraries are amazing! without libraries how would kids find new books to read? great response too. about the budget cuts and whatnot.

truth. I like to read with a pen to make notes as well. it's why I have so many books at home, all dog-eared and underlined!

I can really relate to that first part about using the word 'I' too much and what that means for your review. It's like how in school when you first get taught how to write an essay, you have to be formal but still get your point across. carefully opinionated. also agree that extremely emotional reviews aren't the best, and I'm guilty of a few of those myself. such a great topic for discussion!

wow, that's actually really cool. I can see it as a great device for writers. in my mind I imagine it as a generational kind of thing, writing over what your forbears have done and making your own mark. very interesting, I want to know more about it! also, excellent question this week :)
