I can't believe how HOT the temps are getting for the next week or so. I have certainly determined that it is harder to run in summer than winter. At least in the South.

Love Mizuno shoes. They are great!

Love your attitude about it to just say you enjoyed it and move on. We all do that from time to time and it is 100% okay. All about balance, right? ;)

Sigh. That sounds like the PERFECT weekend! I love the lake and skiing but it has been so long. Glad you just lived in the moment and enjoyed it all. :)

My heart melts over both of these posts. Thank you for sharing it all because it really does bring to light just how blessed we are and shows the love that is still in the world. We just have to open our hearts to receive it and then give it in return. Much love to you for putting yourself out there and making changes.

Girl, I have sucked myself into that guilt trap too. It's so unnecessary. Bloggers who *expect* people to be reading theirs aren't doing it for the right reasons. I think it's important to be active in the community BUT not at the detriment of other responsibilities you have. It also doesn't mean you have to read all the time and know every detail. Show care and support to others, but not while sacrificing care to yourself and people in your everyday life. ;)

Good luck to you this weekend too!

I'm about to do my first full and did Hal Higdon's Intermediate plan. I did change out one of the shorter recovery runs for yoga and stopped doing the two back to back runs by the end of my plan since I think it helped lead to the injury I faced. Overall, though, I liked the plan.

Now I need to find a way to watch an episode on Food Network and listen out for the word "popped".

And I'm freaking about that spider. I feel like it's on me. I would have literally been in tears.
