I finished it in May or June and to be honest I do not think that I could write a post about it now. I thought that Tolstoy did get a little philosophical there at the end in regards to war and history. I am glad though that you did do this challenge, because I would have never of picked up W&P and read it.

Christmas shopping????? I thought that is something that is suppose to be done on December 24th. The tree is up but is not finished yet. No eading plans or blogging plans. I'll just take it day by day.

I am embarrassed to admit this, but I do not mind the Santa Claus ones. Most of them are just funny enough to make me laugh. I thought that Fir Crazy was okay. I thought that The Christmas Ornament was way better.

I tried to watch Sleepy Hollow the other day. I came away with negative feelings after watching it. They kept on referencing the book of Revelations and referring that two of the characters as being the two witnesses. It is obvious they do not know anything about the two witnesses in the book of Revelations.

It is so cool that your dad did W&P while you have been reading it. None of these books would work with my dad. He does not read books. Now for a book I really liked; Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy by

It is continue struggle with me at times. At times I wonder though is it the person I want to be or is it the struggle to be the person that I think that people expect me to be. I have to admit though I have become more and more comfortable being neither.

This morning I woke up I came to the conclusion I probably will never get what I suppose to get from reading W&P. So I have decided to read it just for the joy of reading it. I’m no longer trying to gleam some sort of life changing event from it.

Missing the 75% is how I felt like when reading all those books for Hutchmoot. I kept on saying to myself “am I missing something here”.
