Very funny! Well, I work freelance from home so it's Hello footbath for me! At least Secret Santa takes the stress out of having to buy gifts for EVERYONE, and even better if there's a designated $$ value. I think I just like rules and limits when it comes to presents - saves awkwardness. And I'm never disappointed by wine.

I love that spontaneous camaraderie in bank queues and shopping centre aisles! No man (woman) gets left behind! Nothing like a common enemy to create a bond either. Cool story :)

I haven't read a Stephen King book in years actually! I've always loved his more obscure titles, and short stories - not necessarily the ones that get made into movies. I must give this one a go - with our without treadmill.

My mum always used to say that when someone said 'You're looking well' it meant you'd put on weight! It's very dodgy territory indeed. I vote for saying as little as possible to anyone, ever.

Oh my goodness, you've been through a lot. I had a terrible time with breastfeeding and a lot of it did come down to support. Well done to you for sticking it out with all the other added complications!

Well, my secret is that we saw Frozen at a special preview and I think I enjoyed it almost more than the kids. It's just SO pretty all of that snow! Especially in 3D (and I'm usually not a fan of 3D). My daughter said it was her favourite movie of all time too, which is a big call! So, I'd secretly be happy to win the 3rd prize without the passes so that someone else can enjoy this special film while my daughter enjoys playing with her new life role model, Anna :)

Oh Wendy, what a beautiful, heart felt post. I have been so lucky not to have to deal with fertility issues, although I have had a miscarriage so I have some idea of the sadness that brings. I hope you can move forward on from this in a positive way, in time. x

That looks like a fun day out. It must be very helpful to be able to share experiences with people who understand what you're going through, and fundraise together too.

I think my husband and I are aware that we don't need any more 'stuff' in our lives. We either negotiate something substantial (he has an IT fetish and I would never be able to pick the right gadget without his input) or we do something like see a show or go out for dinner and make that our present. It's lovely when he surprises me with something, but I'm just as happy to make a joint decision - or to skip it altogether.

How fascinating! My kids do some of these animal walks at their baby gym play sessions, but I didn't realise exactly how they impacted on development. I'll have to encourage more of it at home.
