Floored. To know this kind of thing is simply NOTHING compared to actually seeing it laid out like this. WOW. Just... WOW.

Every time I posted something controversial {like religious or political stances}, certain relatives would blow up at me, call me names, cut me off, spank me in public. I didn't have to worry about bitches getting me down, because my own family was there to do it first. I still keep my personal account very open, but I no longer post anything other than the hum-drum, white-picket-fence BS that other wonderful humans post. I feel sad and somewhat miffed that I can't be myself on my own page, but... ultimately I guess it is what it is.

I save the snark, cursing, and controversy for my "Fan Page" because I figure if you seek me out, you know what you're getting into. I've finally found a corner where I can be true to myself, and anybody who doesn't like it is welcome to fuck off. I

t's almost like I'm a two-headed snake. One is sweet, and the other sour. The people I like and respect best are those who are appear on both my Personal AND Fan page. It's clear they accept me as a multifaceted individual, which is really cool, because... aren't we ALL multifaceted???

WOW. I never, ever would have equated the Captain's Log to keeping a record and thereby continuing my mission. That is... just... wow. The best analogy I think I've ever stumbled across. Thanks, man.
