Hubs is a perfectionist. I am...not so much. As a matter of fact, I am darn near the polar opposite of a perfectionist. That makes me sound horrible doesn't it? I do everthing to the best of my ability and move on. I cannot allow myself to become so obsessively consumed by something. I like to think that hubs and I keep each other balanced rather well.

Such sweet touches to your Christmas tree. I love the idea of decorating that way. I am thinking that next year I will start collecting items throughout the year and make them into ornaments to hang on the tree to remind us of our year together as a family.

What a great activity! I love the idea of doing this. It is truly a blessing for others I am sure. I often volunteer at a local shelter and occasionally the kids will go with me to help out. I think it is eye opening for our oldest who is 13 and our youngest who is 8 still sees it as a play date with all of the kids at the shelter.

I second all of those things! Our last vacation was in May as well, and we are so ready for another one. Especially since the weather is starting to turn colder. I could really stand to go back to Puerto Vallarta! Of course, it doesn't take colder weather for me to wish to be sitting on a beach. :)

I love your Barbie (and Ken too). They are adorable! I wish my girls were still little enough to want me to fix their hair. Well, the 13 year old asks me to fix her hair for big days like picture day and every now and again, but I miss putting piggy tails and braids in their hair.
