God I so wish someone had taught me this from a young age. I think it's like muscle memory or something. You need to believe it and know it so deeply that it becomes just an instinct cause even a second's hesitation means you're (well, I'm) going to follow the bullshit social script while wanting desperately to climb out of my skin.
