For us, the best date night is a LONG dinner with a glass or two of wine and good, adult conversation. And go to a movie, too! Let loose and relax... I hope you have a great time!

You are so right- we can't control them, so we might as well give up the worrying, as well. Knox is in the same boat- does not want to eat lately and WILL NOT talk! He'll say something new once, then never say it again. Oh well, they will do things in their own time, and we might as well relax about it! Good luck with the rest of your 40 days!

The folks at Stouffer's are definitely smart ones! We had this same issue a while back, and I was so frustrated with the fact that I was feeding Knox separately, first, then trying to wrangle him while Trevor and I scarfed down some food in front of the TV. Not exactly a good family dinner! Now, I start cooking immediately when I get home, Trevor can bathe Knox, and dinner is ready around 6:30- and we all eat together at the table! Generally, Knox is ticked off and tired, but it's slowly getting better for us, too. So glad you found a way to feed the whole family at one time! Kudos to you!
