The Bible doesn't say "You shall have no other false gods before Me", Ray.

... though maybe it should

Replies like yours are why I will never be a Christian, Frank. Many of you do not care one whit as to what other Christians do or say in Jesus' name, because you live merely to spin every moment into a lesson in scripture.

A god with the ability to create universes and planets and life and brains wouldn't then ask His creation to stop using the latter and start endlessly speaking the words of an ancient book.

Each one of those murders is no worse than a simple lie - according to the God Ray claims to believe in.

And yet he doesn't seem concerned that he's going to be judged for having lied about science, atheists and evolution.

So it's good to keep in mind that when Ray starts talking about Justice, he doesn't actually mean what he says.

Don’t be concerned that you aren’t “gifted” as a speaker when it comes to reaching the lost.
Your ministry is predicated upon this.

the true convert falls upon this broken world and pours in the oil and wine, carries him to an inn, and says that he will take care of him until he can stand on his own feet spiritually.
That's not what evangelists do.

The inerrant Word of God so describes the hard hearts of the non-believers I come in contact with, both here in Ray’s blog, and in my ever day walk it is, in my opinion, one of the strongest supporting pieces of evidence for the existence of the living Creator God of The Holy Bible.
Whether it's one of the strongest or not is something I don't know. Regardless, it's spectacularly weak evidence, in general.

Right here at this moment, I predict that you'll disagree with me. Sure enough, when you do, I'll claim it's the strongest evidence that everything I say is true.

When you fail to be convinced by it, you'll understand why no one finds your evidence convincing.

First: "we" are the people whose name is written in the book of life.
A book none of you can demonstrate the existence of.
A book you can't agree as to whose names it contains.
A book which is surely no more than a metaphor.

Awesome standard for Christianity you've got there.

Makes a thinking person wonder whether "eternal life" is just as metaphorical...

Our crimes against God are so serious they demand the death penalty.
As a parent, I'm sure you feel that way about your kids all the time, right?

If you reject the Genesis curse, nothing makes sense. The Bible says we live in a "fallen" creation--filled with disease, suffering and death.
The Bible also says bird's blood will cleanse a house of leprosy, so unless you accept this as a universal absolute truth, your explanation above is insufficient.

Only yours… We have eternal life.
Not necessarily. You might have committed sins you haven't repented of - like lying about atheists and Richard Dawkins and science and evolution, just to name a few. And if you go to your grave without admitting to yourself that you actually did lie...

Well, you'd be just as badly off as the rest of the false Christians you rail against.
