I had attempted to read The Night Circus last year, but things kept getting in the way. Hopefully I'll be able to finally read it this year!

That cover is so much better than the original. Unfortunately, the original cover put me off to the point where I didn't bother reading the summary. I'm surprised! This sounds like it could be really interesting!

Oh wow.. I don't think I'd be able to read that book. Heavy, serious issues tend to take the enjoyment out of reading for me.

Even though I have a ridiculous amount of ebooks, I still love to own physical copies of my favorites. There's no way I'd ever just give them away!

AHAHAHA, my TGIF reply was so sad. I only recently began a blog too (although mine has nowhere near the amount of followers yours does). It seems that the posts with the most views for me were memes.

I adore Poe! Most people don't know this, but he was a pretty funny guy. I wouldn't necessarily say he wrote some light-hearted comedies ('cause, well, it's Poe), but there are some short stories (& essays! Poe loved his essays) that were humorous.

Out of his well-known works, my favorite is The Cask of Amontillado. The Masque of the Red Death is also really good! As for his lesser-known stories, Lionizing (it's only 4 pages!), Four Beasts in One, Some Words With a Mummy, and The System of Dr. Tarr and Prof. Fether are great - and so short. Out of those four, the longest is 14 pages.
