I just want to thank you for this recipe It is delicious.I decided to make this as a Easter Coffee Cake, with some changes. I used 1 less egg subbed in 1/3 cup of applesauce. with added Cinnimun, I used dried cranberries or Craisons, that I plumped in juice of 1 lemon and 1 orange and zest of both. I left out cloves and nutmeg. It seemed to bake more even, in a 9x9 in round cake pan.. Was not as dense in center as when I tried the bread.. Christmas time this is getting made as mini breads for gifts and muffins in cookie trays. Thank you so much White chocolate and cranberries is my favorite flavor with orange and lemon!.
