It was quite strange and disappointing. My assumption (because I don't think she's either stupid or cruel, generally) is that her memory was just plain wrong, which I know can happen because for YEARS I believed that Paul McCartney had left Linda while she was dying of cancer, even though I remembered when Linda died and I knew that they were together at the time. Yet for years I had it in my head that what happened was the exact opposite of what actually happened. So that kind of thing happens, memories are weird little devices. But there's no excuse for not confirming that your memory is accurate before you go on tv and talk about it, especially when it's something that important.
