I'm somewhere in the middle. I take great comfort in the simplicity of the day to day routine, but I have these big, impractical dreams I can't seem to shake.

I always ask myself the same question. I find I now buy more expensive items, but I also wear them more than I've ever worn clothes before.

I think getting an MBA can be really helpful in getting the right connections. But I'm not sold on the traditional idea that getting a degree guarantees career success

The good thing is that you're prepared and can afford all those unexpected and irregular expenses. Those kind of pet bills would wipe out the majority of my emergency fund :/ 2015 is going to be all about getting that efund fully funded.

Great challenge. I will be traveling for more than 2/3rds of November, so cooking at home every day is not gonna happen this month, but I do try to get super savvy with my per diem on the road so that I can pocket as much of it as possible.

Realistic wedding budget is SO important. I don't want to spend my first years of marriage struggling through debt!

That movie looks awesome. A few years ago I was a very negative person. I would have these moments of extreme euphoria followed by wallowing 99% of my days. Now I think I'm a generally happy person. I love the way I spend my days- writing, acting, running, cooking, etc. But the greatest joy I have is climbing into bed at night next to my boyfriend and talking about the day. There's really nothing like it.
