Actually he's lost my favor cuz he's been a bit of an asshole. He's said incredibly insulting, ableist things about autistics and he's complained about how hard it is to be rich. The latter I could deal with on its own, but the first is absolutely intolerable to me. I'm autistic and I refuse to support someone who talks in such a dehumanizing way about me. So, sadly, he's not as good of a person as he seems initially.

Wow, way to oversimplify and stereotype all women as though we're a computer program or something.

Yeah, I read that and immediately thought, "so you mean he attracted women for basically the exact same thing that attracted men to him? That he was a really good person who was fun to be around? Wow, women want to be around nice people! What a fuckin shocker!" Like it was phrased as though only men would be interested in a dude who's fun to be around. WTF.

Yes! Either that or they noticed he was a douche when she didn't. Or it's a women-only outing for themselves and they've established ahead of time not to look for men to date or something.

Single, straight women aren't always looking for a man; something I think everybody tends to forget easily. (Since we're basically taught the opposite.)

Stereotyping women as essentially inherently cruel harpies. Good job.

You're also a huge cynic, which, frankly, is boring and asinine. And largely unsubstantiated. Just because you see the world that way doesn't mean everyone else does.

Honestly? When I asked him why he was with me, I asked something like, "But what do I do for you? I know you help me relax, you stabilize me, you calm me down, you help me with everything. But what do I do for you?" And he just replied something like, "I love you and I love being with you." Like he didn't let me make it about an exchange of favors, as relationships are sometimes viewed. I worry that I'll be a burden to him, but he reminds me that he loves me and wants to support me and that's okay.

Yeah, Dan Savage has has some problems with the whole GGG thing before. http://pervocracy.blogspot.com/2011/03/good-givin... I'm not a fan.

And don't forget Risk-Aware Consensual Kink (RACK).

I'm not sure why we need the acronyms, though? Like consent is important. That's kinda the point of not rape. @_@ To me, giving that several acronyms feels weird, but maybe that's because I stray away from edgeplay.

To be honest, the starter kits are usually crap, from what I've looked at. ESPECIALLY the ones themed around the 50 Shades book.

A lot of people use it in an insulting way, implying that it's "boring", etc.
