Congrats on your run, Erin - you kicked ass!!! I love what your coach said, too. Sure it's hard when we want to match or beat a PR, but bottom line - you SMOKED that race. Any race that ends in the "I'm going to puke" feeling is bad ass. :-)

I seriously need that pin. :-)

Ugh, I hate bad race pictures! I think they should post sign "photographer 20 yards ahead" or something like that. Is that too hard? I mean, races cost an arm and a leg (and so do the official pics), so that isn't too much to ask.....right???

I LOVE surveys. Going to take that now!

"Gulp" is right! Holy moly. That is FAST! I love how your coach pushes you guys to do things outside your comfort zone....I am very comfortable in my "zone" and probably could use some pushing. :-)

Dang, that is so fast!! I love reading about your running group and the encouragement you get from your coach and each other. I've only been running with my friend a few weeks now, but it makes a huge difference in motivating me to get faster and to just keep going!

I am SO happy for daylight savings. Well, except for the fact that I woke up at 6:30 a.m. (new time) this morning, which really was 5:30 yesterday...I am thinking today will be a nap day!

Wahoo, nice long run!!! I can't wait until your half next weekend! I am SO glad your shin feels okay. And, whoa, I just looked at your race calendar - that is intense! I love racing season....and the warm weather that comes along with it. :-)

Hopefully there is an end in sight for those cold runs....right?? I HOPE so!

I am with Kim - 8 on a weeknight is totally badass! And I agree....i wish i could bottle up that feeling I get after a great run to keep with me all the time. Would definitely help me on those not-so-great days. :-)

Oh my GOSH, Erin!!! What a great pace!! I cannot believe you did those great splits without being able to see your Garmin. And I am SO glad you had no leg pain!

Erin, um....you ROCK!! Congrats on your PR and finishing in your age group - I've never done that before, what an awesome feeling that must be! Take that, shins. :-)

Um, heck YEAH that was a great month! I'm WAY impressed with your miles given the fact that it was February (shortest but longest month of the winter, right?) AND you had an injury. AND a PR! Congrats on a great month, Erin!

I absolutely love running in March and April....not just because the weather gets warmer, but I love seeing more and more runners outside - people come out of hibernation, and I love it!
