Gosh, snow is soooooo foreign to me. I look at all your pictures in awe because I cannot imagine living where it snows. Thought you might find it funny that I dress my kids in footies for the beach- like when we have a beach bonfire. Keeps them warm and the sand out of nooks and crannies :)

This was so hard to read, Shawna, but I loved the ending. I've got some unresolved issues with family myself, but they're not from my lack of trying to fix them. I hope your family sees the light one day soon, but until then, I'm glad you've got your husband and son.

Love your gratitude list! I can relate to getting sleep and the boobs back, reading books again, luuuv DDD but it's been forever since I hulu'd it so I'm way behind! The husband, the cake, the readers, the sushi...so much wonderful-ness going on! But #10 truly resonates with me right now and I love how you worded it...I am happy for your transition to WP and hope to be following closely in your footsteps. Like really close. Like I hope I don't trip you close. See you on the other side!
