Fave dirt scent is BPAL's Jazz Funeral: "Bittersweet bay rum, bourbon, and a host of funeral flowers with a touch of graveyard dirt, magnolia and Spanish Moss." The bay rum and bourbon GTFO on me, and it's just dirt and moss. WOOOO.

The "SOAKING IN IT" thing, to me, is THE FASTEST WAY to totally ruin perfume. Like, if other people can smell it from ten feet away, or, as you say, if it's horribly cloying on public transit? YUCK.
