Ughhh I hate when blurbs give away the whole story! You'd think pubs would have learnt this is a BAD thing by now. I wonder how much say the author has in the blurb? I'd gather its a lot more than they have in cover art. But as an author I would hope you'd push the keep the blurb as spoiler free as possible.

I'm always really eh on alternating timelines. I really get bored in dream scenes/flashbacks and I feel like they're rarely done well enough that they don't totally disrupt the pace of a book.

This definitely isn't the book for me. Thanks for the fair warning!

So I'm definitely not a fluffy contemporary reader. I could probably count the number I've read on one hand. BUT, they do have their charms. They 100% make me feel better/happy post-read, and they're always a winner if the author can pull of snappy, realistic banter.

I wasn't at all a fan of To All The Boys, sadly. I don't know what it was, it just didn't click for me. I really love Elizabeth Eulburg's books though - Prom & Prejudice, The Lonely Hearts Club etc. They're adorable and super fluffy. :)

Oh I feel like I'd read this and you'd just have this constant sinking feeling because you know one of them going to find out about the others lies and it's just going to mess everything up and ahh, I have feels and I'm not even reading the book. I haven't read a Jessi Kirby before but I'm definitely adding this to my TBR. :)

Oh that's terrible to hear, I'm very sorry about your friend. I can't imagine reading a book so similar to something terrible that had happened to me. I don't think I would have made it through!

I really enjoyed The Last Time We Say Goodbye too though, it was really well written! I was the same, I didn't get really emotional till right at the end and then oh boy, open the floodgates!

It definitely has a lot of feels. I may have shed a tear or two (shh, don't tell!)
The psychic thing really works though. I don't know, read and you shall understand :)

I was actually thinking about this the other day! I'd definitely like more male POVs in contemporary YA. In fact, just in YA in general. I feel like YA fantasy is dominated even more so by ladies these days. Maybe its a reaction to the notion of there being not enough empowering female figures in books, but there's definitely a big gap for male MCs now.

Although 'Try Not To Breathe' by Jennifer R. Hubbard has a male POV and is amazing. :)

Oh I saw this on someone's WoW last week and it really intrigued me. That cover is so cool!
I'm definitely keen to read this one - Charisma sounds scary!
