This is a very real post on the first year of motherhood - I especially liked the part doing things you never said you would just to get a good night's sleep. My daughter slept with us for the first 14 months of her life and sucked a soother (a dummy as you called it) - two things I was completely against while I was pregnant with her. At times it was hard to not consider myself a failure because I was doing these things and questioning myself all the time. By the time my second came around 2.5 years later I realized that no matter what I do, as long as I love them and nurture them, they'll grow up just fine. Thanks for sharing this!
I love this - it is super important to always be in a place of gratitude. We all go through hardships and some of us ask God often "Why me?!" But being in a place of gratitude really helps ease the anxiety and puts our difficulties in perspective. Gratitude and faith go hand in hand for me. Thanks for this post!
