The podcast isn't loading for me. It's not available on iTunes, and archive.org seems to be down as well.

I guess you missed the Four Swords Anniversary Edition commercial that explains what happens to it.

The orchestrated stuff sounds amazing, and the sequenced orchestral instruments sound better than they did in previous Zelda games. I'm definitely looking forward to hearing the rest of this.

It's impossible to please everyone, and Zelda games are no exception. Lots of people are giving the game good reviews, but there's still the minority that doesn't like it. The guys in the video might be in that minority. I had a disappointing experience with the demo at PAX (which was a huge shock because I was so excited for the game), so it's possible I could be in the minority as well, but I won't know for sure until I play through the full game. Who knows, maybe some of the people who disagree with the guys in the video might end up not liking the game once they actually play it.

Now to sit back and wait for the downvotes for even suggesting the possibility that Skyward Sword might not be completely perfect.

SS doesn't use the sensor bar at all. All the pointing is done through the Motion Plus.

I take it you stopped watching after (or possibly during) the Skyward Sword bit. They followed it with Super Mario 3D Land, which fits all the criteria you just mentioned (unrealistic graphics, no voice acting, no blood, not M rated, not a shooter), and they gave it plenty of praise.

It's a game console. It hooks up to a TV. What else would it hook up to?

Not really a fan of this one. I don't like the lo-fi sound, and the timing and tuning sound a little off in parts.

That said, I've gotta give the guy cool points for actually playing and recording an instrument rather than sequencing everything.

Also because they had lots of assets from the previous game that could be reused so they could save a lot of time in the creative process by not having to create as much. I highly doubt they could have made the entire game that quickly had they started with absolutely nothing.
