I am a working mother of five and yet my heart is at home. I think it can be arranged so that it is possible to work and yet have home and husband as the priority. I do see the detriment to girls believing there is little value in motherhood and homelife. So sad.

I admire the woman who was able to ask forgiveness and the one able to offer it. We must all know that it has taken both much time with our Lord to get to that place.

I am one in a second marriage. My first husband was in ministry and engaged in repeated affairs, two with women in our church.
Later, through a mutual, trusted friend I met a godly man and the Lord blessed us immeasurably with love. We married just this summer and are now a blended (more like blending) family of seven. Our family will always bear the marks of the loss of our first marriages and our children will be forever different because their original families are no longer intact. But I'm thankful that just because we didn't meet the ideal, God didn't let us go or remove us from His plans.
I am careful to never encourage divorce and believe every marriage should be fought for. Ultimately, though, we live in a fallen world with free will and some persons will choose to break those covenants. God can still make beautiful things out of the broken pieces...it is only Him that can somehow bring good from what was so very painful.
Yes the Lord is merciful (thank you, God), but we all bear wounds which will healed only in heaven as a result of sin. Divorce and remarriage are no exception. Second marriages can be a place where that healing takes place.
