We've got a windmill that looks just like that in our town ... except ours is a kind of pinkish brown. It's still being used to make flour.
You sure did have an awesome holiday Deccy. Mmm, you've got me drooling writing about crab sandwiches. The tinned stuff just isn't the same and it's about 45 years since I had the real thing :(
I bought Beryl an icecream once and she wouldn't eat it! I wouldn't bother offering Frankie any as he probably wouldn't eat it. I bet they would eat it at home though.
Mouse and Asher must have been adopted about the same time, end of March. He was bounced because of separation anxiety but he's OK here because he's got company all the time except when I take Frankie and Beryl to the beach and he copes by himself for that length of time. Hopefully I can have 3 dogs because I'm adopting him :) Now to turn him into a happy boy. Good luck with Mouse, I'm sure you'll have fun training her and enjoy having her around again!
I thought you were sitting with a Corgi in the photo with Bronwyn! She is such a rich red colour, very pretty. Awesome that she's now got a home! The family who took Chips first met GH's at a similar event over a year ago so it didn't happen overnight but it did happen :)
Looking even more gorgeous than usual Deccy. And you deserve to be spoiled :) Great collar and I know it would have been awesome to meet Sue and Polly and your other blogging friends. You'll be able to do it all again next year xxx
Somewhat unorthodox pose but definitely supermodel star quality!
So cute, they're even curled up the same :0
Bender's speed and determination are impressive. I know there's no point you telling him that if he was a bit less enthusiastic he'd be able to play longer, lol! I'll have everything crossed here that it's second time lucky for Olive. I'd hate to have to part with the same foster dog more than once.
Good luck with the new fence. Hope it all goes smoothly.
I had 2 cats (brother and sister) for 14 years along with a Welsh Terrier and up to 5 Shelties and they all lived happily. The thought of having a cat with Frankie and Beryl scares the s**t out of me!! But then my old cats came along first and then the dogs so it was all the dogs ever knew, they lived with 2 cats. Well done Frou Frou and Bender. It's awesome :)
He probably is protecting you more than your home? Did anyone knock on your door while you weren't there? It would be interesting to know his reaction then. I'm pretty sure my dogs routine is fairly similar to yours. They certainly don't spend their days digging holes in the garden or destroying the flat when I'm at work, for which I'm very grateful!
