Emperors are kind of stubborn that way. Sorry I forgot the linked-back logo; I'll check the other two I've preloaded.

My science posts are on Saturdays and I am (retired now) an atmospheric scientist, but I'd like to point out that sexual selection IS a form of natural selection. Selection made deliberately from outside the species is artificial selection. I've posted series on horse coat color genetics and planet building.

Beverly, can a page like a page?

Question: can I do this and keep the fans I have? SueAnnBowlingAuthor would be fine and I could change the links on my blog and author site, but what about the followers I have? (And I have a trilogy I'm polishing about Roi as an adult. I've put pieces on Six Sentence Sunday.)

I have a book page (set up for me) and I mostly link to science articles I find via twitter, plus a daily link to my blog. But I'm still not sure how to use it! Or if there's difference between a fan page and a book page. It's at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Homecoming/1093039... if you'd like to drop by and offer suggestions.

In the first place, manuals are not written for users. They are written for others already in the business, e.g, software designers. Second, they aren't decently indexed. I once spent days with the manual for a drawing program trying to find instructions for drawing a straight line--neither "straight" nor "line" was in the index. Third, all too many are written by non-English speakers. Need I go on?
