Thanks for linking up with us at Grace and Truth last week! We certainly are on a mission!

I'm stopping by from Faith-filled Fridays. I'm not very good at setting goals, but now that my children are back in school (even the little ones this year - sniff, sniff), I would like to sit down and do some planning and goal-setting. I love the printables you've created!

Happy to "meet" you through the Tell His Story link-up. So much of what you wrote really resonates with me. I'm learning to be okay with calling myself a work-in-progress, and more than that, to trust Him to do the work rather than trying to do it myself. It's this being desperate that has taught me such truth. The picture you painted of Christ filling the gaps comforts me! (And side note: I love that you talked about having to put on "big girl panties." So often when writing, I feel the same way.)

This was such a good reminder for me to read today! :) I'm also on a weight-loss journey, but lately it's been at a real stand-still because I broke my tailbone. Anyways, as soon as I'm healed up, I'm ready to get back at it. In the meantime, I do need to be more careful what I eat! I'm stopping by from the Raising Imperfection link-up.

I'm visiting from the Wise Woman link-up. This book looks to be very interesting! Thanks for sharing your review. :)

I'm visiting from FMF. What a gift to your children to weave such beautiful stories for them! :) In our family we have a special song. It's a made-up song about love and it includes every family member and sometimes our pets when the little ones ask, "But what about....." I think your husband may be right. You should jot them down, even if for nothing else than to give to your children when they are grown.

This has been a common refrain lately in my devotional life (and my blogging life!) that He is enough. Thanks for reminding us to stand on the Word and on His strength. :)

Oh,how often I've caught myself in the same situation! Time pressure and stress often bring out the worst in us mamas. I'm right there with you - sometimes we need to quit commanding and just listen to our children.

I'll have to look for this book! :) I really like the quotes you pulled out of it and also the quote from Susanna Wesley.

This post is well-written and much needed. I myself often minimize the importance of daily study. Thanks for the excellent reminder, and I'll be checking into the SOAP method. I haven't heard that one yet, so I'm curious as to how it works! :)
