Oh, and why do they expect educated Asian women to act like some kind of ridiculous stereotype? I have seen men who will say when they see an Oriental looking woman, "Ni hao!" and expect us to be flattered. Not all of us are into sushi and anime. *facepalm*

Ugh, I hate men who think that Asian women are submissive and easy.

Or "in a delicate condition" or "in the family way" for pregnancy.

We Ravenclaws are terrible snobs. We love to think we are deeper than everybody else (though sometimes, perhaps there is some truth to that :P).

Ravenclaw is supposed to be the "intellectual house," which implies a certain degree of acceptance of nerds, provided they are intellectual enough. Gryffindor is supposed to be the house of the brave and daring, and associated traits that would be applauded would be assertiveness and attractiveness. Certain traits tend to go with certain traits. But it's weird that the Ravenclaws we see on the whole seem superficial and dumb, whereas the famous intellectual characters mentioned in the book tend to be Gryffindors. It's kinda frustrating. Ravenclaw seems to be portrayed kinda like a lesser Slytherin. Also, where are the nice Hufflepuffs?? I get the impression they're portrayed as dumb, even though they have a reputation for being nice and hardworking.

YES! I'd argue that Hufflepuffs are better listeners than Ravenclaws. Ravenclaws tend to think they're superior.

It's kinda weird all her friends are Gryffindors though. Gryffindors tend to stand out more; Ravenclaws tend to be more accepting to nerds. But I guess Rowling didn't plan in detail at the time.

I love the Ravenclaw one! Cheers from a Ravenclaw :) (Honestly I get annoyed with the Gryffindor worship in Harry Potter and the lack of Ravenclaw participation)
