Word! Abby, you are 400% right about making ALA work for you! I don't know where I would be in the library world if I hadn't started introducing myself to people in signing lines and joining just one committee -- it really is that easy!

I will miss you very much these next few days, but I cannot wait for Chicago!!

Our SRP ends on July 27th this year, and I have definitely been viewing the start of the Olympics as the finish line!! This post made me smile majorly, Abby.

I'm still watching "Ringer," I think it's definitely gotten better, but my one issue is that it's moving too slowly for me. And I'm still getting through "The Secret Circle" with some drinks, but it's not hitting the upward spiral at all like TVD did.

Abby, you are kicking my butt on your reading log. I've only got two books on mine! Also, I am SUCH a big advocate for tracking time -- it is the ultimate equalizer, and it also allows the whole family to do reading together. (Which is absolutely what I imagine happening in EVERY household in my community, right?)
