We slowed down a lot over the past year and a half too. We took a handful of trips domestically last year and it was a lot of fun--sometimes I forget what the U.S. has to offer. Now we've got a kiddo, and it's a lot harder to travel. We will be exploring areas that are within a 6-8 hour drive in the next few years :)

I'm a big fan of naps being taken at home too. However for us, the morning nap is usually the short one so I don't mind having that one be "out and about" but I try to always make sure I'm home for the afternoon 2 hour nap. People think I'm too Type A about it, but she's a terror if you mess with her afternoon nap!

I work part time and I work from home 90% of the time so I don't have advice on when it gets easier but have you thought about hiring a cleaning service? Once I started working, nap times = work time, so cleaning doesn't happen. It's a HUGE HUGE HUGE burden off of our shoulders that our house is generally clean most of the time.

One side note: on the days I go into the office (usually I'm away 4-6 hours), M almost always adds another wake up in the middle of the night.

I think bloggers advertising other bloggers has gotten completely out of control. I've unsubscribed from a LOT of blogs recently because they are all about sponsorships and promoting those bloggers. Half (or more) are posts promoting their sponsors and/or guest posts from their sponsors. I much prefer when bloggers share posts/blogs they really like---that's how I've found a lot of new blogs. I miss when people had simple blogrolls and things like that.

I'm glad you're doing this because I like your blog and if you tweet or link to another blog, I'd be more likely to check it out.

I made an album through Adoramapix. It turned out great and was super easy. I'm not even "crafty" and was able to make one that looked nice. I think it ended up costing around $60 and took me about 4-5 hours over a weekend. We also hung a TON of photos up in our house. We only recently switched some of those out for maternity and baby photos (we had the same photographer do both of those shoots..our house is like an ode to her).

We're putting our tree up next weekend since my due date is Thanksgiving weekend. We probably won't take it down until mid-January....2 months of Christmas decor? LOVE IT.
